Fox and Blue Sky Studios have released a handful of images from the upcoming Peanuts animated CG movie.Based on the classic comic strip by Charles M. Schulz and the series of animated specials they inspired, The Peanuts Movie will be the first adaptation of the beloved characters to 3D animation.The Peanuts Movie is directed by Steve Martino, and written by Bryan Schulz, Craig Schulz and Cornelius Uliano. It’s due in theaters Nov. 6, 2015.
We’re only a few weeks away from its general release, but Disney has served up an early taste of its new short film, Feast.Directed by Patrick Osborne and produced by Kristina Reed, Feast tells the story of a romance as seen through the eyes of a hungry dog named Winston.Feast premiered at Annecy in May and has been shown at numerous festivals, as well as at a recent special engagement of the sing-along edition of Frozen at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The movie will be released Nov. 7 attached to Disney’s next animated feature, Big Hero 6.
Walt Disney Animation has released new images from its next theatrical short, Feast, which is set to play in front of the Marvel comic adaptation Big Hero 6 starting November 7. Directed by Patrick Osborne and produced by fellow Paperman alum Kristina Reed, Feast is a dog’s-eye view of one man’s love life which is revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.
Osborne joined the studio in 2008 as an animator on Bolt and took place in Disney’s month-long Spark program, during which he produced the experimental short Pet — a hit with his fellow artists. He went on to work on 2010′s Tangled and was head of animation for the Oscar-winning short Paperman. Osborne had been tapped as co-head of animation for Big Hero 6 before his concept for Feast was greenlit.

We wrote a while back about the Pixar short Lava, which will screen in front of next summer’s feature Inside Out.Now the first image from the film itself has cropped up, featuring Uku, the lonely volcano that just wants another volcano to love. Take a look, Having seen the whole short, we can’t wait to see it again — even though we’ll have to wait until Inside Out premieres June 19, 2015.
